   The well known Bethany Mota has the hearts of girls of all shapes and sizes. She has come from being a shy and bullied home schooled girl, to a chic confident woman with more social media followers than Lady GaGa, a famous pop singer.

    
   So who exactly is Bethany Mota? you ask. Bethany Mota is a youtuber, someone who posts videos online YouTube. She was a beauty guru meaning that her videos would be everything that involves fashion, makeup, diys, and so on.
   The first time I watched one of her videos was when I was in third grade and my best friend and I watched her school hairstyle video over and over again. We both fell in love with her like the rest of the nation did. Can you believe that she has been on YouTube for about seven ish years. At the time she was already well known. She would get fanmail in her P.O box every day and she would write back. That was before she became busier than most of the average teens though.

   Bethany Mota was really able to connect with everyone around the world, not only because of her amazing stylish and helpful beauty and fashion tips but also because of her kindness and generosity that she gave to all of her fans. She still does the same today with meetups all around the world to.

   Over time she was the first you tuber to be on Dancing With The Stars, she made her own clothing line, she had her own clothing line tour, she won Teen Choice Awards, she was featured in various magazines, and she wrote her own song. Seventeen magazine had put her on the cover for their "YouTube edition." Although she didn't win DWTS she didn't need to, with all of her fans powering her on like batteries and making a hashtag for her and her dance partner.

   Mota is one of the most popular YouTube celebrities.[6] Mota's first haul video was in June 2009. She began her YouTube channel in order to escape the stress of bullying and rapidly gained followers, which now number over seven million. Business Insider describes her as "relentlessly upbeat and bouncy" and "a virtuoso of positivity".[7] As hauling became more popular on YouTube, retailers began to use it for marketing, and Mota was offered free cosmetics and gift cards.[3] Mota is ambivalent about promotional videos,[7]but when she does feature free products, she clearly identifies the products that she has not purchased.[3] In January 2014, Business Insider estimated that she made $40,000 a month on her videos.[7] In order to cultivate her fan following, she purchases prizes and awards them to fans who promote her videos.[7] Her fans are called "Mota-vators".[8]Besides her fashion-related videos, she also maintains a more personal account, which she uses to discuss whatever interests her.[9] In 2014, she was selected to be among the content creators in YouTube's first advertising campaign.[10] Mota has also appeared on YouTube's web show IMO, an opinion show aimed at teenagers.[11] She also interviewed President Barack Obama on January 22, 2015 as part of a Whitehouse initiative to reach out to a broader audience following his 2015 State of the Union Address.[12]

   Many people even made a OTP with Bethany and Connor Franta called Cethany. This was before Connor Frantas coming out story though (that seriously made me cry, and I was truthfully so proud of him.) Obviously you can tell that if people spend there free time making these kinds of edits, than the person has got to be pretty famous. To be honest, Cethany would have been the cutest thing ever if it happened though.

    Bethany Mota has been best known for being herself and not being perfect and the way she shows that is by adding her "bloopies" at the end showing the funny parts that she messed up in. She isn't afraid to show the real her and that made America happy. Other people think that they were fake or pre planned before the video was even filmed. I personally am on both sides. In some videos the struggle is so real, but in others she seems a tad fake if you known what I mean.

   Life wasn't always on the smooth side though. As Bethany got older she had revived a lot of hate for looking fat, not posting, doing things wrong, and needing to grow up. You can never have a perfect life, it is just not possible. She was able to get through tough times though by having her fans on her side and sending her positive tweets that brightened her day. Sadly, though many of her fans have noticed that she has grown up. She isn't the same hyper self rather calmer. There was a huge lack of videos for a long time and many people regretted her and thought she would stop her videos. The lack really scared people off, but after Dancing With The Stars she was back on track and her editing was better than ever.

   Her song Need You Right Now sprung fans back to her channel and was on the iTunes Top 10 chart for about two days. It really was a huge achievement for her. Many people had noted that she had a voice like none other and fans were very happy.

   After knowing that her fashion line was a success she even created her own perfume. She sold it in stores with little cards on the bottom that if you scratched and you were lucky, you and another person would get to spend the day in New York with her.

Overall, Bethany had a few bumps but she was loved and is still loved today on her channel. I do think she will grow up and stop, but we don't need to worry about that now.
